About Me

The Therapy that is offered

Person-centred therapy or client-centred therapy/counselling is a humanistic approach. This approach is non-directive, allowing you to explore your thoughts and feelings without interpretation or advice from me. I believe we all have the ability to find our own way forward and this therapy can help us to achieve this.

I offer this therapy face to face and it can be short or long term counselling.

My Experience

I am a lecturer in Person-Centred Counselling & Psychotherapy and a group facilitator in personal development. Further training/experience includes working for a sexual abuse service; a young people’s service and a couples counselling agency.

I work with both individuals and couples to explore and to gain insight into the difficulties they face in life. I work with clients exploring many issues, some of which are all types of abuse, anxiety anger, low self-esteem, stress, loss and bereavement, domestic violence, sexuality depression, self-harm, trust concerns, feelings of worthlessness and feelings of hopelessness.
